Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
All students at Mordialloc College are required to bring their own personal digital learning device. To participate in the BYOD program, students must sign the College’s Acceptable Use and eSafety Agreement and adhere to all College device specifications.
Students can choose to use a laptop or tablet style device and these devices may run any operating system, however must meet the requirements below. Phones and eReaders are not suitable.
- Have sufficient battery life to last the school day
- Be capable of browsing the internet
- Support enterprise wireless authentication (PEAP MS-CHAPv2)
- Have up to date antivirus software installed
While families can purchase a device from any vendor, we do have a preferred supplier offering a curated selection of devices. In 2026, our preferred supplier is Edunet. More information can be found below.
The College has a small number of laptops available to loan to students who are under severe financial duress. Please contact the College Office.
